Assign Only

TDM23 includes a feature for conducting "Assign Only" runs, with two predefined scenarios: AssignOnly and AssignTransitOnly. The AssignOnly scenario performs both highway and transit assignments, whereas the AssignTransitOnly scenario is limited to transit assignments.

These scenarios are designed for specific tasks and are not complete model runs. They require the specification of model results, typically from a previously completed run. To execute an AssignOnly or AssignTransitOnly scenario, follow these steps:

  1. Select the Scenario: Choose either AssignOnly or AssignTransitOnly.
  2. Open Scenario Parameters: Access the scenario parameters table.
  3. Navigate to Run Mode: Proceed to the "Run Mode" section within Primary Inputs.

  4. Specify Source Scenario Folder: Identify the desired source folder.

    Note: For an older version (TDM23.1.0), using the "Choose Folder" function may lead to issues. Instead, directly copy the folder path and paste it into the field marked "Assignment Only Source Scenario Folder." Additionally, copy the "tdm23.db" file from the source scenario folder to the output folder. See details in the Known Issues and Solutions.

  5. Confirm and Run: Click "OK" to start the model run.
